I'm René Laumann — freelance pilot and certified flight instructor from Germany. With over 2,000 flight hours and more than 8 years of commercial aviation experience, I have operated in over 35 countries.
What drives me is not just the technology — it's the responsibility. Every flight is a task I approach with the highest care, complete preparation and a focus on safety. Clients choose me because I show up prepared, communicate clearly and get the job done without complications.

First Flight Hours — PPL
The fascination with aviation begins with the first solo flight. Obtaining the Private Pilot Licence (PPL) — the cornerstone of a career in the air.
Commercial Pilot Training — CPL / IR / MCC
Completion of commercial pilot training with CPL, Instrument Rating and Multi Crew Cooperation. The first step into professional aviation.
First Type Rating & ATPL
Obtaining the first type rating and Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL). Entry into commercial airline operations as First Officer.
Promotion to Captain
Promotion to Captain — full operational responsibility for aircraft, crew and passengers. A defining step in the career.
Type Rating Challenger 604/605/650
Obtaining the type rating on the Bombardier Challenger. Entry into business aviation with demanding international operations.
Flight Instructor FI / TRI / SFI
Obtaining flight instructor ratings as FI, TRI and SFI. Passing on experience and knowledge to the next generation.
Freelance Pilot — Worldwide
Today I work as a freelance pilot, ferry captain and consultant — for airlines, charter operators and private owners worldwide. Challenger 604/605/650, DHC-8 and ATR 42/72. Always ready.
